Nice environment for delicious food.

A super idyllic restaurant right on the lake creates a unique atmosphere. We stayed here for a short rest break during our hike around the lake. For this reason, I can only rate the hospitality and not the culinary offer. We felt very comfortable and want to come to eat soon.

Good service, great view of the lake. Address the food served, the temperature of the food could be hotter. Tables very tightly seated. I don't like decoration.

Fish platter for € 25 each: Ice-cold vegetables with room-warm rice and lukewarm fish. Two plates went back to warm up and then came back at least evenly lukewarm. However, we would have to sort the appropriate plates back to the right guest of our family celebration, which was only possible with different pieces of vegetables ...... 🤔. Pork fillet only seasoned "homeopathically". Onion roast beef was okay, but it didn't look like the photos of the leaseholder before that are online. I find 4 mini potatoes and 10 slices of carrots an economical side dish.

Price performance is not right, the fish cost 25 € and was cold and the side dish was ice cold unsuitable for several people such as birthdays as there was not enough staff. The surroundings are great but the rest are not recommended under any circumstances. This experience is shared by many who were with us at the party, about 17 people

Great restorant, friendly staff, right on the lake. Good menu with regional delicacies. Perfect for a short break or intermediate stand.

The food and price-performance ratio in this regard is good. Most of the waitresses are really friendly. But there are also staff there who can really spoil your lunch break because they are inattentive and slow and then have an impossible and cheeky manner. It's a shame - the landlord itself is in a really nice location with a view of the lake. Actually just the thing to use the lunch break to relax.

The Seewirt am Simsee is a wonderful place with a lot of potential! My wife and I went there to eat spontaneously today without a reservation. The beer garden and the restaurant in the outside area were full to the brim and we still got a reserved tussle, which made us very happy. At first we had to wait too long for the drinks. That happens sometimes. When it came to eating, it was positive that I could easily choose another side dish for the daily recommendation. Unfortunately, instead of bread dumplings, exactly one bread dumpling came to the lumberjack steak. The side salad with the Kässpätz was not available. The 2nd wheat beer was ordered 3 times, but it came 30 minutes later. While waiting we saw many other dissatisfied guests. Then when we paid, we raised it. During the meal there were no questions as to whether everything was okay. For the missing salad there was at least 2, - € discount. When I wanted to pay by card and the device broke off, it was just rude that it was due to my card or my coverage. We have these cards a lot and they always work! However, you can only pay in the interior with a Wifi EC device, which already raises the question of the connection and the device does not issue a “Reason for termination” code. Of course, this would not be in plain language, but as a customer with insufficient liquidity, it would be unattractive to be defamed. We then just paid cash. CONCLUSION: Service is overwhelmed and does not seem to be able to deal with this number of customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner, both conceptually and personally. It's a shame, because the potential of this beautiful place is gigantic. The food is really ok. CORONA: no self-disclosure necessary. All the staff wore the masks according to the regulations. However, the service staff are at odds with the distances and the seating arrangement. Great place with great potential for improvement! Still, it's best to try it yourself and be lucky, probably not every day is the same. For us the last time!

I was looking forward to a cappuccino by the lake, unfortunately I was badly disappointed. Wait 10 minutes, the waitress has put her tray down next to the table. Thought she was coming, but no, she disappeared in the other direction. After another 20 minutes, no one was interested. It's a shame, we left again.

I was there for dinner with a friend tonight. The view of the lake is a dream. So the location of the restaurant is great. Now to the food. So as a starter I ate a small mixed salad. This was good but very very small. For the main course I ate a pike fillet with potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. It was beautifully presented and flavorful. Tastes good too. However, the price is a bit higher at over € 20 and therefore not a place for every day. This restaurant is definitely recommended for festive occasions. We didn't have to wait long for our food, even though there was a lot going on.

The location is a dream. The food was okay and the staff was very friendly. If there is a lot of activity, you should be patient.

Restaurant located directly on the shores of Lake Simssee, with numerous tables outside (summer) and a small, grassy sunbathing area and sunbathing area. There is also a descent to the lake. A small pier and berths for boats and yachts. Rather intimate, though a bit more noisy at weekends.

A really nice place, with a great view of the Simsee and the mountains. The service was very friendly and quick. And the apple strudel can be highly recommended :-)

Fantastic sunset, char fillets on mustard sauce with fresh vegetables was delicious. The onion roast was not perfect. Otherwise all good. We will be back for the location alone.

Direct on the Simssea this Seewirt Beergarden offers not only beer but a wide range of fresh fish from the Simssee and various bavarian dishes. It has a long walkway👣 around the sea through the forest🌲🌿 and you can hear the sound of the different rare birds🐦

We haven't eaten this good in what feels like ages! From the schnitzel my dad had to the salad I decided on we were extremely pleased! The price was alright, as we paid about 26 Euros (30 with tip) for a Seewirt-Schnitzel, a big salad, an alcohol free beer and a Radler The only negative would be that the Schnitzel was way to much to eat for one person (TWO full size schnitzels and some potato salad and a small salad) The staff was extremely friendly and happily joked around with us, the atmosphere with the sunset and the warm temperatures was amazing. We will definitely come back

Restaurant with a very nice terrace. Sorry an amazing terrace with see views. But food could be better. I expected so better food and better service. I was there in a nice summer day and I could enjoy the see view. But I don't know if in winter it's worth to go

We stopped to sit on the lake for coffee, and from what I was impressed, it looked nice and pastoral, to those who like quiet, notes that it happened in March

Very nice excursion restaurant with beer garden. The host is very concerned about the welfare of his guests, the service is excellent. The food was excellent and prepared with attention to detail, very fresh food and generous portions.

Nice calm place, big choice of meals and drinks. Perfect to visit with a group of friends or family, have a walk arround the lake and relax in good talk.

Been coming here for almost 10 years. Fantastic setting, especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Great food, good service, wonderful ambiance, great views of the mountains as you sit right on the Simsee lake. You can't go wrong here for a nice relaxing dinner.
